Four animal trainers present their beasts: Richard Koch his shouting trumpet, Benjamin Weidekamp his wild sax and cuddly clarinet, Rudi Fischerlehner the naughty drums and chief trainer and ringmaster Roland Fidezius the big dangerous double bass.
Sometimes the jazz creatures are tamed, sometimes let loose... And the listener is suddenly in the ring, with no protection for his skin and ear-drums. The ringmaster creates a new scenario in every composition; a splintered mirror of the world, a kaleidoscope. Like buildings, the moods swing from the rickety and choppy to the warm and comfortable; and like sandcastles dissolving into the sea, compositions emerge from the improvisations. And in front of your eyes, sound-castles with their virtual towers burst into stardust.
So, break loose and watch out for biting!

» SO.WEISS «
So.WEISS is Vocal Trio with an unusual line-up:
Vocals, Saxophone, Double Bass.
The Repertoire consists of compositions of saxophone player Susanne Folk. Starting off writing music to several poems of english poets (John Keats, William Shakespeare) and young german writers, she now writes most of the lyrics herself. SO.WEISS are line-up wise close to chamber music but music-wise on the way to great pop-music!

Peter Van Huffels' GORILLA MASK is a Rock / Free Jazz trio. The goal of this group is to play simple melodies,
at times ridiculous, at times almost childish, and to just rock out and freak out. There is no way better to
describe this group than these three words:
Hard Core Fun!

“Join our heroes on a hair-raising, spine-tingling trip thru their ruined, overgrown city as they
try to escape the clutches of Evil, find and rescue their enslaved friends, and stop the sadistic
invaders before they dominate and destroy the world. An exciting, fun-filled, hair-raising

Kenosha Kid is an international jazz collective formed by composer/guitarist Dan Nettles. Based in the college-rock haven of Athens, Georgia, Nettles leads several incarnations of the band and has performed this music in the U.S., Europe, and Canada. Frequently the performances have been multimedia events which included
silent films, dancers, or writers. The debut "Projector" recording showcases his hometown ensemble as they delve into music that has been performed around the world.
"Kenosha Kid is some kind of as yet unlabeled jazz. The Tunes are all very finely constructed. The arrangements provide a seamless mix of the written and the improvised, and Nettles can easily be regarded as a very good jazz composer within his self-constructed genre. The music flows and never stands still, giving the listener something new and unexpected every other moment. Indie-rock jazz lives!"
